An easy to make and yummy crunchy banana sweet treat for kids and adults. Pack in a lunch or take to work for break-time, this is such a tasty snack and everyone in your family will love it.
Prepare batter, bananas and cornflakes before heating oil in frying pan. You can substitute the flour for equal parts of Maida (a white flour from the Indian subcontinent) and wheat flour.
In a large bowl flour, turmeric powder, sugar, plain yogurt, salt and water. Mix to get a thick batter consistency, set aside for 10 minutes.
Cut banana into lengthwise, dip the banana pieces in batter and then roll in corn flakes to get well coated.
Deep Fry till both sides until covered bananas are browned.
Let cool before serving. Perfect for snack time.
