Baked chicken recipes are easy and quick to make at home for your family. A popular recipe is lemon baked chicken, which calls for:

  • Four boneless chicken breasts
  • Four cloves of peeled and minced garlic
  • Three tablespoons of melted butter
  • Two tablespoons of lemon juice
  • One teaspoons of thyme
  • One teaspoon of kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • Lemon slices and thyme sprigs for garnish

Brine the breasts in one quart of warm water and the kosher salt for 15 minutes. Whisk the butter, garlic, thyme, and lemon juice together and pour into the bottom of a large baking dish.

Place the brined chicken on top and brush with the melted butter mixture. Salt and pepper the chicken to taste and then bake in a 450-degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Oil for frying

Combine the flour, paprika, garlic salt, pepper and poultry seasoning in a dish. In another dish, beat the eggs with 1 ½ cups of water. Dip the cut-up chicken in the egg mixture and then the flour mixture, coating thoroughly. Deep fat fry in oil heated to 375 degrees for seven to eight minutes per piece.
